ISO14000 Compliance

Compliance to ISO14000 brought in:

  1. four dust-bins in place of one (in every floor)
  2. a printed label on each dust-bin,
  3. colour-printed banner to instruct where to throw which trash,
  4. prints on all paper-cups to remind of ISO14000,
  5. colourfully printed banners in lobbies and lifts to ‘educate’ about ISO14000

I thought:
…The ISO 14000 environmental management standards exist to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment…

I hope that large organizations better do not ‘comply’ with ISO14000.

  1. Dust bin technique can be made effective ammong public if we can have an electronic counter+display to show how many times it’s used. So that people are encouraged to improve the count. It takes a minimum circuit effort to install.

Additionally we can even weigh it and display.
